Oh! Lord! Let me see
In the overwhelming darkness
The light of Thee.
Oh! Lord! Let me love them
Who only learnt to hate
(I) Want to love and not to condemn.
Oh! Lord! Let me forgive them
Who made me cry always
But helped me to be strong
In those turbulent days.
Oh! Lord! Let me give all that I own
To feel the warmth of giving
Walking along the path shown.
